Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gazi Tuğkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After some careless play in the AKHisaR defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gazi Tuğkan. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gazi Tuğkan should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Villa scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gazi Tuğkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gazi Tuğkan should have stopped the shot. Gazi Tuğkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Espinar went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Lefter Demirbaş made the kick off in the second half. Gazi Tuğkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gazi Tuğkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Cabal in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Tuğkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gazi Tuğkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Carvallo in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Milagros Cabal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gazi Tuğkan. AKHisaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milagros Cabal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gazi Tuğkan was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Gazi Tuğkan stood somewhat misplaced when Christian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 89 minute. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AKHisaR throughout the match.
