The tension between the Tasso FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Tasso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun did a great save. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Corderun was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 17th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Urbano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Urbano in the 31st minute of play. Berkin Dilsafa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Corderun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Silverio Corderun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Corderun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. León Zambrano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Primitivo Andino didn't quite understand what happened when in the 45 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Urbano to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Silverio Corderun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Diego Antunes hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Luis Andino lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Silverio Corderun. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Corderun could save by the left post. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Severi Nybacka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasso FC's Juca Tasso was substituted for Miguel Sequeira. Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza was substituted for Waldir Urbano. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tasso FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkin Dilsafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berkin Dilsafa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Berkin Dilsafa's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berkin Dilsafa helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Berkin Dilsafa. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Corderun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute. With his leg Silverio Corderun managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
