Silverio Corderun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by León Zambrano. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. León Zambrano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's León Zambrano got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Waldir Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silverio Corderun, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Silverio Corderun in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silverio Corderun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Cazalla in the 42nd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Tasso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 46th minute, Sebastián Coates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Waldir Urbano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldir Urbano really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Corderun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tasso FC made a substitution. Normando Fiúza replaced Waldir Urbano. Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 78th minute of play. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joel Gaona. Severi Nybacka hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Silverio Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
