The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Orange in the 52nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute. The referee showed Aldair Orange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aldair Orange. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
