Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nathaniel Burnett made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Monty Rogers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidney Motta. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathaniel Burnett in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nathaniel Burnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led USA's Edward Mcdonald to a score. 3-0 in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Motta was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Monty Rogers put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney Motta. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Ergüleç in the 52nd minute of play. Sidney Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rogério da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of USA booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersan Ergüleç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Imbituba - FSCMZ's corner Pedro Luís Fonseca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Ersan Ergüleç tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Day saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edward Mcdonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidney Motta having to make a save. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Válbson Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Baker to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
