In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Martin Istad in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Aurelio Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Enrique Bologna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Enrique Bologna in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Ted. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Bologna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chile booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Bologna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Florencio Rafe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
