With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Casimír Cavada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odín Oliva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimír Cavada's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Slight saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Paulino Slight showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Slight having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimír Cavada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rosalio Cavada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimír Cavada in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Héctor David Casas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimír Cavada charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimír Cavada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Casimír Cavada got a free kick in the 65th minute. Paulino Slight made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute. When Héctor David Casas fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s protests and gave Héctor David Casas a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Slight came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Slight, 0-2. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Paulino Slight made a huge save. After 79 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Slight was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Slight skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosalio Cavada in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight. Paulino Slight was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st match minute, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Marti to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Paulino Slight to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Marti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
