The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Luis Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Luis Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 40th minute.

✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ made a substitution. Kaká Tua replaced Javier Milei. The wind increased when Kaká Tua made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Urtats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s attentive Benjamin Grabiel managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Kaká Tua. But to his dismay, Kaká Tua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 92nd minute, Benjamin Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Valentino Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Benjamin Grabiel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Carvallo during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of El Salvador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴:s goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
