In the 22nd match minute, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Javier Milei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Javier Milei took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. A very good chance. A collision led to ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Felix Cordarrell hit a great ball. El Salvador's attentive Luis Rubio managed to snatch the ball when Benjamin Grabiel made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Grabiel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Salvador booed when ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Maximino Urtats hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mateo Leguizamo, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Benjamin Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 89th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Nafarroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
