Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Xacintu Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Xacintu Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Patrik Øskan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yulian Tzambov hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Øskan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Xacintu Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Atlético Bucaramanga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Øskan. The audience was convinced that Xacintu Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacintu Ribeiro. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xacintu Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Ribeiro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Ribeiro in the 56th minute of play. Atlético Bucaramanga made a substitution. Jerson Gonzales replaced Yulian Tzambov. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrik Øskan quite easily take care of the ball. When Xacintu Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Atlético Bucaramanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xacintu Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xacintu Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Øskan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Atlético Bucaramanga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Patrik Øskan, making the score, 1-4. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrik Øskan firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 72 minutes, Hernando Harroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Bucaramanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernando Harroyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Patrik Øskan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Bucaramanga from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Ribeiro in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Bucaramanga.
