The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Miromir Bendyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Marian Dombroski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 9th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Dombroski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Wieczorek in the 17th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Trójmiasto górą !'s Miromir Bendyk made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Trójmiasto górą !'s goalkeeper Marian Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rafal Pietrasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marian Dombroski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Pietrasz in the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Pietrasz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Miromir Bendyk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Trójmiasto górą ! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Bendyk couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced Trójmiasto górą !'s goalkeeper Marian Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Miromir Bendyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Miromir Bendyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Trójmiasto górą ! getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Miromir Bucyki hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Trójmiasto górą !'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Marian Dombroski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Miromir Bendyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Al Wieczorek to make the kick off. Marian Dombroski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Dombroski having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trójmiasto górą !'s Andrey Nenkov was substituted for Miromir Bendyk. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Rafal Pietrasz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Trójmiasto górą !'s Marian Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play forced Trójmiasto górą !'s goalkeeper Marian Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona scored 2-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Dombroski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trójmiasto górą !'s Cyryl Wykowski was substituted for Tymoteusz Mierzejewski. Marian Dombroski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 75th minute. The corner led Mexico's Luca Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Dombroski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nikolai Incorvaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Trójmiasto górą !'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Marian Dombroski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Dombroski having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Trójmiasto górą !'s goalkeeper Marian Dombroski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Nenkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Nenkov in the 97th minute of play.
