But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Leão was the one to do the kick off. Menang Kalah Tawuran made a substitution. Bondo Peli replaced Abu Gosoc. Abram Sarmiento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Bela Negara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Leão in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Menang Kalah Tawuran's goalkeeper Bela Negara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buyung Amiruddin in the 71st minute of the match. Rafael Leão took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Bela Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of the match. If Markus Arwana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
