Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeronimo Txatxu kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ramon Menezes struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xv de Piracicaba. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfredo Rocchi came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Xv de Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Rocchi couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Txatxu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. Jeronimo Txatxu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sebastian Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Min Son fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Rocchi in the 32nd minute of the match. Xv de Piracicaba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Min Son in the 33rd minute. The corner ended in Min Son almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xv de Piracicaba:s goal. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Rocchi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jeronimo Txatxu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Xv de Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. Xv de Piracicaba were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Min Son took the corner. Xv de Piracicaba's Min Son was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jeronimo Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ander Uibomäe fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xv de Piracicaba's protests and gave Ander Uibomäe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Xv de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ander Uibomäe to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes, Alfredo Rocchi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xv de Piracicaba and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Alfredo Rocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Xv de Piracicaba's Ramon Menezes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Menezes. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Txatxu in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Txatxu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Menezes got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Xv de Piracicaba's Ramon Menezes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas pulled a muscle in his back after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ramon Menezes charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Menezes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela made a substitution. Guillermo Espina replaced Jonathan Venegas. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 94th minute Jeronimo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
