Yader Villavedon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes Ma&Lu Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Yader Villavedon managed to reach the ball for a save. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Americo Aribau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Aribau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yader Villavedon saved Ma&Lu Futbol Club from getting behind. Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Yader Villavedon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiří Kudla in the 28th minute. Yader Villavedon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Xesus Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Chago Oberto got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Yader Villavedon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Toledo in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jiří Kudla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The Ma&Lu Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
