The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Monty Rogers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ray Folwill. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ray Folwill firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 13th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ray Folwill saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ssc Napoli's Ray Folwill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. USA were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Ssc Napoli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Jacob May managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 25 minutes into the match, Ssc Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Ray Folwill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Mihălțan in the 28th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ssc Napoli's Ray Folwill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Augusto Maranhense made a kick off. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
