Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clóvis Alvarenga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 3 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clóvis Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Caco Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Alvarenga in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Moreto F.C. - Capivari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Geovani Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Moreto F.C. - Capivari's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Leite came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Moreto F.C. - Capivari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Barreto to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Alvarenga scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Betinho Machado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Giuseppe Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of the match. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Giuseppe Leite to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clóvis Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Igor Valle was substituted for Conrado Barreto. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's César Moreira was substituted for Clóvis Alvarenga. Agnaldo Marinho struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreto F.C. - Capivari. With a little luck, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Moreto F.C. - Capivari from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Leite having to interfere.
