In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Garlic Eaters were awarded a corner. Pavol Stano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Garlic Eaters's Pavol Stano to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Collingwood in the 13th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Justin Collingwood put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Jozef Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Jozef Lewandowski got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 24th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Justin Collingwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Collingwood in the 34th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jozef Lewandowski went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Christian Sancho's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. Garlic Eaters's Joel Afful was substituted for Noel Broom. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Collingwood in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tommy Hanley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lautaro Navarro, passed just outside the right post. In the 55th minute, Jozef Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood. But to his dismay, Justin Collingwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Garlic Eaters's İbrahim Efe Altunbaş was substituted for Fitz Lambley. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Emanuel Ocampo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. 68 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Lewandowski came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garlic Eaters were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pavol Stano took the corner. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Justin Collingwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Justin Collingwood lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Lautaro Navarro. İbrahim Efe Altunbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Hanley in the 92nd minute of play. Jozef Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garlic Eaters played a much better game than Honduras and deserved their victory. The Honduras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
