Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lucio Ur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 31 minutes C. A. Potrero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. 36 minutes into the match, Mustafa Barış Yorangil notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Barış Yorangil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Mustafa Barış Yorangil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 70th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Lucio Ur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Celestino Sidro got a free kick in the 74th minute. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Wladyslaw Popowicz replaced Raimundo Santos. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Mustafa Barış Yorangil notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The C. A. Potrero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Potrero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
