Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gerardo Abeitia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Abram Sarmiento scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Cefero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Gerardo Abeitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Abeitia in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After 19 minutes of play, Chamaicó's Sebati Çiftçibaşı made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Gerardo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamaicó. Leonel Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Abeitia in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Leonel Cefero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Abeitia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebati Çiftçibaşı in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Abeitia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Abeitia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Gerardo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Chamaicó's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Chamaicó's Leonel Cefero managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Gerardo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Abeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Abeitia in the 66th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gerardo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Gerardo Abeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Leonel Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Chamaicó had been in control for most of the match, Colombia still came away with the win.
