Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Sakowicz came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Cesaro in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Nerio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of play forced Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goalkeeper Ivo Tropchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sergio Cesaro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play forced Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goalkeeper Ivo Tropchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sergio Cesaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th match minute, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Urtado to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivo Tropchev skillfully saved the ball. Ivo Tropchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Cesaro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Tropchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Ivo Tropchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ivo Tropchev in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of play forced Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goalkeeper Ivo Tropchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivo Tropchev, 1-2. Ivo Tropchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Sakowicz spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chile's goal. Francisco Carballar charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Carballar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
