The referee showed Bonifacio Johans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Deportivo David Mardel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Johans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona took a good shot, in the 9th minute, which hit the crossbar above Gogo Leguizamón's head, and flew over the goal. Deportivo David Mardel's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Mexico. Deportivo David Mardel's Gogo Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Zawacki in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that 莫默广 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gogo Leguizamón was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 31st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Ludomir Zawacki scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play forced Deportivo David Mardel's goalkeeper Gogo Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paulo Artizar hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 莫默广. Deportivo David Mardel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 莫默广 in the 44th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Julio Poncio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute Ludomir Zawacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 54th minute of the match. When Deportivo David Mardel's 莫默广 in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Leguizamón having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Gogo Leguizamón however easily saved by the left post. Gogo Leguizamón made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target.
