Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Cadu Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cadu Team from getting a goal against them. After 12 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Downing. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paiva in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gelu Lepuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Válbson Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 30 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Gerber. After having played for 35 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Hugo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cadu Team were winning 0-1.

Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelu Lepuș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Lepuș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Zé Carlos Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Gerber. 郝榕弘 hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Alcântara in the 70th minute of play. Válbson Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mattias Downing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Downing during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Válbson Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
