Válbson Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Mattias Downing dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Zé Carlos Gerber hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes of play Cadu Team's Zé Carlos Gerber was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Alcântara made a kick off. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gelu Lepuș made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Alcântara in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Lepuș. Gelu Lepuș yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. 郝榕弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 郝榕弘 kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 郝榕弘 made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Válbson Paiva however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Alcântara in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Lepuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
