Falcão Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo de Queirós replaced Jamey Hankins. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Falcão Cunha could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel de Lara in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Alcocer. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play.
