Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bozhin Palakarchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Bozhin Palakarchev didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bozhin Palakarchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Knights Templar's Zlatko Stumbov got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatko Stumbov. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bozhin Palakarchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rungrueng Rau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Fedosz in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, Knights Templar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Merodiyski to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Sava Dodov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Knights Templar's Damyan Labov got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatko Stumbov in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Knights Templar's Bilyan Púntov got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Sava Dodov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Damyan Labov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Knights Templar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Stumbov in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Bozhin Palakarchev however easily saved by the left post. After 77 minutes Knights Templar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goalkeeper Bozhin Palakarchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bozhin Palakarchev. Bozhin Palakarchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Zlatko Stumbov's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zlatko Stumbov helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Knights Templar got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Stumbov. 86 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Bozhin Palakarchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Knights Templar's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bozhin Palakarchev came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
