An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Indonesianus in the 17th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Iszur Sugandi came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kordal Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Sawor having to interfere. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincentius Sopandi in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Menang Kalah Tawuran got a freekick which was hit by Yanto Panjaitan. After 24 minutes of play, Menang Kalah Tawuran's Sam Indonesianus made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iszur Sugandi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamaall Padmore to maneuver through the defense. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincentius Sopandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fajar Tambunan got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fadhil Latupono hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlus Waugh in the 63rd minute of play forced Menang Kalah Tawuran's goalkeeper Saul Sawor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Fajar Tambunan could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Demonde Jacobson however easily saved by the left post. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanto Panjaitan in the 72nd minute of play. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Sawor having to interfere. In the 85th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Sawor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Fajar Tambunan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fajar Tambunan sent off a good shot on target. Saul Sawor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 94th minute of play. Jamaica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Finlay Stair in the 95th minute. Menang Kalah Tawuran's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
