Carlos Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carlos Quentin made a huge save. Jorge Carrascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Silvino in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jorge Carrascal hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Pincha FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Carrascal.
