After 19 minutes Crisólia FBPA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Crisólia FBPA's Ismael Toscano managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ismael Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. The coaching staff of Crisólia FBPA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodriguinho Diniz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ke Zhi to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ismael Toscano. The goal made the score 1-3. Ismael Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
