In the 9th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, 张邦宁 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Luque got free with 潘常宇 in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but 潘常宇 made a huge save. In the 17th minute, 倪真鹏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏乐明 in the 21st minute of play. ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s 潘常宇 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save ≮四川梦幻全兴≯ from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 柯钢镇 during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Salvador booed when ≮四川梦幻全兴≯ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柯钢镇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 潘常宇. That made the score 1-1 after 47 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 张邦宁 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. That made the score 1-3 after 57 minutes of play. 魏乐明 had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 张邦宁 in the 69th minute of play. 唐渊笑 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Valentino Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when 张邦宁 came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 张邦宁 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Carvallo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. In the 95th minute, 唐渊笑 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move.
