A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Rodrigues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Hugo Rodrigues threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Tafalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 7thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Macos Graciani in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Meninos De Cotia's Silvestre Corderro. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hugo Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Hugo Rodrigues made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Meninos De Cotia defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. The Meninos De Cotia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Rodrigues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Meninos De Cotia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Meninos De Cotia's Nicanor Seber was substituted for Agnaldo Siqueira. After 82 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Bezerra. The supporters of Meninos De Cotia booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of the match. Hugo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Frank to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
