In the 13th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabrijel Jovanovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikifor Kulaksúzov took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lipovljani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nikifor Kulaksúzov in the 18th minute. Nikifor Kulaksúzov made a great header on Lipovljani's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Lipovljani's Valter Vidulić got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 46th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cvjetko Štokić in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lipovljani's Kevin De Bruyne. The supporters of Colombia booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Bruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lipovljani's Cvjetko Štokić got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cvjetko Štokić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lipovljani's Vincent Kompany got a free kick in the 71st minute. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 72nd match minute, Lipovljani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Kompany to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabrijel Jovanovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Cvjetko Štokić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Cvjetko Štokić slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 75th minute. 84 minutes in the game Luis Cazalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santino Seco. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cvjetko Štokić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipovljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Cvjetko Štokić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cvjetko Štokić came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lipovljani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cvjetko Štokić couldn't finish the play. Gabrijel Jovanovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Carballar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's Cvjetko Štokić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Cvjetko Štokić got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 3-4. The Lipovljani supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lipovljani would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
