Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes Monte Olimpo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Monte Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Monte Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicolas Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nicolas Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Varela having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Dacian Barbăneagră managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Olimpo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Barbăneagră was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolas Varela quite easily take care of the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monte Olimpo's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Monte Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicolas Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Monte Olimpo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicolas Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 36 minutes Monte Olimpo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Antonio Arias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolas Varela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 40 minutes into the match, Monte Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicolas Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nicolas Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Dacian Barbăneagră made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Monte Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Varela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Monte Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. Nicolas Varela acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Monte Olimpo's Nicolas Varela got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolas Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. Monte Olimpo's Nicolas Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Monte Olimpo from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolas Varela could save by the left post. 78 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Varela. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Monte Olimpo's goalkeeper Nicolas Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Monte Olimpo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Albuquerque in the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Nicolas Varela made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Olimpo's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Varela came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes Monte Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Barbăneagră. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Monte Olimpo's Marquinhos Rosado got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
