Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabrício Lustosa got the match started through his kick off. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Luca Rouco in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Fabrício Lustosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mao Zhen Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Mao Zhen Hong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza was substituted for Fabrício Lustosa. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Mao Zhen Hong successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Macos Graciani made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Facundo Cadaval however managed to control. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fryderyk Grucza went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. When Fryderyk Grucza fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Monte Gordo's protests and gave Fryderyk Grucza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Grucza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Fryderyk Grucza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mao Zhen Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
