In the 23rd match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Renatinho de Lima made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Luiz Paulo Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ubatuba's Viktor Ambrosetti got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Ambrosetti to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Ambrosetti in the 51st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ubatuba's Yan do Valle. Yan do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan do Valle having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubatuba's goalkeeper Yan do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the game Renatinho de Lima made a throw-in which Natã do Vale played forward. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Ambrosetti in the 77th minute of play. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Armando Tavares with Luiz Paulo Pereira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Ambrosetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play Ubatuba's Renatinho de Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 84th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan do Valle having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jiří Brázdil fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ubatuba's protests and gave Jiří Brázdil a yellow card for diving instead. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
