Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 7th minute. Luiz Paulo Pereira scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renatinho de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho de Lima. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of play. When Luiz Paulo Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ubatuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Pereira couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Lautaro Puig suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Hermínio Paraibano's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. Costa Rica's Alfredo Zoido was substituted for Lautaro Puig. In the 30th minute, Hermínio Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Paraibano was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 35th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Viktor Ambrosetti made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Ambrosetti in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Viktor Ambrosetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Viktor Ambrosetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Viktor Ambrosetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Renatinho de Lima hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Cecilio Manny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Cecilio Manny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Ambrosetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Ubatuba's Luiz Paulo Pereira got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 86th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvaldo Trevisan in the 87th minute. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Ambrosetti in the 95th minute of the match. Ubatuba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
