If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cordarius Hornilla who took care of the corner kick. 8 minutes into the match, Canteranos Fc's goalkeeper Erubiel Cambranes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. Sándor Kocsis struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canteranos Fc. In the 13th minute, Sándor Kocsis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canteranos Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Erubiel Cambranes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Abram Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Canteranos Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Erubiel Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Erubiel Cambranes threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the game, Sándor Kocsis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of play forced Canteranos Fc's goalkeeper Erubiel Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Erubiel Cambranes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Sándor Kocsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Cambranes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Canteranos Fc's Erubiel Cambranes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Canteranos Fc from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sándor Kocsis in the 56th minute. Sándor Kocsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Canteranos Fc's Johans Raigada was substituted for Alfredinho Rossi. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Canteranos Fc's Wanderson Pombal. But to his dismay, Wanderson Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Erubiel Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Erubiel Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Canteranos Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Cambranes. Canteranos Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Canteranos Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canteranos Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
