Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquiles Urtsin started the match with the kick off. Aquiles Urtsin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Aquiles Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Domingo Jago got a free kick in the 17th minute. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edelmiro Quintyn, made in the 18th minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darwin Núñez in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Aquiles Urtsin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 38th minute, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darwin Núñez to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 54th minute of the match. Darwin Núñez scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Ismael Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Merengue FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
