Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. Nathaniel Burnett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Manzanedo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 23rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sidney Motta made a huge save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 30th minute of the match. Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Luís Fonseca took the corner. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 33rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sidney Motta made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Nathaniel Burnett made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 43rd minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Imbituba - FSCMZ's corner Pedro Luís Fonseca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Rolando Gaspard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 57th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 69 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Fonseca. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ersan Ergüleç was substituted for Nathaniel Burnett. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Pimenta replaced Berenguer Anda. After 71 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Fonseca. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Ademar de Mendonça was substituted for Armandinho Loyola. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Válbson Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Válbson Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Válbson Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Válbson Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Válbson Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line.
