Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Quentin came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Björn Lundin hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Björn Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 32nd minute of play. Carlos Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Silvino in the 38th minute of the match. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcial Roldanillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 51 minute of play. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Marcial Roldanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Quentin saved Pincha FC from getting behind. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Pincha FC's Agustin Silvino. But to his dismay, Agustin Silvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 64th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Roldanillo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Marcial Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Pincha FC made a substitution. Darren McDonald replaced Victorio Hondo. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Agustin Silvino. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Merexildo in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Merexildo in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, German Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Pincha FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
