Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Everett in the 19th minute of the match. Bath Boyce made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The Boroondara Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bath Boyce should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Matthew Garrido with Abraham Alguacil as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Boroondara Milan's Arty Shearn in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Everett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Panama booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Pearse didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Miralles in the 58th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Bath Boyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paco Everett in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Benny Atkin. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 69th minute of play. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Kris Pearse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Kris Pearse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cambeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
