After 13 minutes, Ragnar Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetzal Flyers Hammers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Georg Giliusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Birger Nordmark was slow to take the kick. During this time Quetzal Flyers Hammers's players had a chance to rest. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Birger Nordmark was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Georg Giliusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Giliusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Johansson in the 34th minute of play. The wind increased when Patrik Johansson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Georg Giliusson. The goal made the score 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Giliusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Georg Giliusson. Georg Giliusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Quetzal Flyers Hammers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Krister Torstensson hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Georg Giliusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Giliusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Giliusson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quetzal Flyers Hammers throughout the match.
