Ismael Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléberson Fantini in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cléberson Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Félix in the 39th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ismael Toscano to make any attempt to save it. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ismael Toscano made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Beltran in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Toscano could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Rony Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ismael Toscano made a huge save. In the 89th minute of the game, Antonio Arias landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Cléberson Fantini's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Félix in the 92nd minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Crisólia FBPA's Lucas Beltran. But to his dismay, Lucas Beltran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With 97 minutes on the clock, Rodriguinho Diniz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 98th minute, Rodriguinho Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Toscano made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Primitivo Andino sent off a good shot on target. The Crisólia FBPA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
