Tolek Czeberowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tolek Czeberowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Tolek Czeberowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 64 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tolek Czeberowski made a huge save. Tolek Czeberowski made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tolek Czeberowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than White Knight throughout the match.
