Nibiru X's attentive Ignacio Cancino managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Isidro De Gavardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro De Gavardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Rolando Noboa had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping León Collado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Isidro De Gavardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Isidro De Gavardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Isidro De Gavardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darío Friederichs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nibiru X defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darío Friederichs. The Nibiru X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darío Friederichs should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darío Friederichs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Nibiru X's Román Grebe was substituted for Isidro De Gavardo. Nibiru X made a substitution. Fabio Caviedes replaced Dario Osorio. 79 minutes into the match, Fabio Caviedes notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
