In the 26th minute, Tomas Ramone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, Benedicto Silbestre threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Benedicto Silbestre made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Tomas Ramone made the kick off in the second half. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Que La Gente Crea's goalie prevented a goal. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Petrică Bebeșel came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Que La Gente Crea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Bebeșel couldn't finish the play. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Que La Gente Crea's Cristian Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes Que La Gente Crea got a freekick which was hit by Albin Hallgren. In the 78th minute Fredrik Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Que La Gente Crea were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Peru side.
