After having played for 22 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cuatrodeocho's Felipe Dimas. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Batuhin couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Wilson in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cuatrodeocho's Fulgencio Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After 83 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 89th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Belarmino Campos, made in the 92nd minute of the game.
