In the 8th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Bedrettin Münir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedrettin Münir was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Melani in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Seferihisar İdman Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Grimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedrettin Münir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmondo Melani. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luke Puig made a kick off. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Seferihisar İdman Gücü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Bedrettin Münir despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 62 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bedrettin Münir, 2-2. A hard shot 68 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Bedrettin Münir managed to make a qualified save. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Luke Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
