Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazario Ronaldo in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Manzano FC's goalkeeper Julian Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manzano FC's Julian Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Julian Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florín Friederichs in the 22nd minute of play. Julian Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Julian Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Manzano FC's goal. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazario Ronaldo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Rocendo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manzano FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When Isaac Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manzano FC's protests and gave Isaac Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Manzano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Lehen to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Rocendo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50thth minute of the game Nazario Ronaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 52 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florín Friederichs who took care of the corner kick. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manzano FC's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Rocendo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Julian Rocendo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Manzano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Julian Rocendo made a huge save. Manzano FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Julian Rocendo, making the score, 0-4. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazario Ronaldo in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Rocendo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Rocendo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Maximiliano Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Manzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
