The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timoteo Nesor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Timoteo Nesor managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Honduras booed when Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Juvenal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Timoteo Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Neto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 52nd minute Walery Prosowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Nesor came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Aureliano Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Prosowski in the 61st minute of play. Bartolo Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Reynaldo Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aureliano Neto sent off a good shot on target. Timoteo Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of play. When Walery Prosowski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Prosowski couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
