Sidney Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathaniel Burnett went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rolando Gaspard hit a great ball. Koby Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Motta having to interfere. Sidney Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mccarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Canada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imbituba - FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Koby Wright made the kick off in the second half. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Carter George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Edwards in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Motta saved Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting behind. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Luís Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Imbituba - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
